The Fullerton Hotel

Its a bit late to post up V-day stuff now but I've been pretty caught up with some stuff lately.
So here are the bits and pieces of hugging and snugging on the 14th Feb 2006.

The night begins...

Romance In Style
at
The Fullerton Hotel
Singapore

J and I had our Valentine's dinner at the Town Restaurant.
Awww...
So sweet.

It is very cosy in there.
There's a beautiful fountain behind me.

Just sit down and they know how to serve you without you making an order.
And I mean they serve you well.
Very well indeed.
All the staff have a smile glowing in their face 24/7.
Just ask. And your wish will be fulfilled.
J: Yo, dude! Latex please.
Staff: Durex banana flavor?

"Customers first"
That's the basic criteria a five star hotel should posssess.

Here's the menu.

We started with an appetizer.
Seafood Indulgence Tower.
Premium Oysters and Lobsters, Live Prawns, Black Mussels, Palourdes Clams, Hokkaido Crab Japanese Braised Baby Abalone, Yabbies Sashimi Moriawase.[What the heck is that?!]

The main course.
John Dory for her.
Oven baked John Dory [I didn't know dory fish got a name!], seared hand dived cornish scallops, grilled langoustine [Thats a norwegian lobster if you don't know wth is that.], carrot and cardoman foam.

Beef Two Ways for him.
Roasted fillet of beef, braised wagyu beef cheek [Luckily its not butt cheek], potato and nutmeg moussiline, winter black truffle shaving.

Next is Avuraga caviar.
[Thats fish roe. The eggs of the fish.]
It is yucky.
It taste sourish.
Yuck.

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!!!
Thats right.
Chocolate buffet.
White and pink chocolate fountain.
I love the marshmallow dip dip inside the choc fountain.
It was heavenly.
Luscious chocolate fondue.
But then again, chocolate is chocolate.
Sex is sex.
I don't understand why some ladies think chocolate is the closest thing to sex.

Our tummy are fully satisfied now with all the scrumptious food.
Thats J's collectibles of clam shells.
Hehe...

On top of that, we have a bottle of Prosecco.
Wine.
Its free flow.

There's a gift from CK also.

And last but not least, is the BILL!

Its SGD 277.40.
A hole in J's pocket.
But yesh...
We had a great night.
Merci chéri.

[p/s: Dear J, Je t'aime.]

Love always,
sarah y
